As a Senior Software Engineer, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining high performance applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a scalable and reliable software solution.
A Day in the Life as Senior Software Developer at ARC includes:
- Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET, Python and Java technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to create high quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.
Qualifications/Attainments
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
Skills and Competencies
Essential
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, Java and Python.
- Proficiency in C#, Java or other OO language.
- Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.

Desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with cloud platforms ( Azure or AWS).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.

- Able to travel as required, including European and possibly global travel.
- Able to proof right to work in the UK.
